Latest Update: October 3, 2026
As of October 3, 2026, Harmony confirmed on X on Friday, October 2, that she is joining the Trump administration as assistant White House press secretary. TheWrap reports that TMZ had reported the hiring earlier that day. She wrote that her goal has always been to ask the questions that matter to real Americans. The White House press team has not yet named a permanent press secretary to replace Karoline Leavitt, who stepped down at the end of August 2026, according to TheWrap.
Harmony’s role is a new government job, and coverage of it varies by outlet. This page reports documented facts and attributes claims to their sources. It does not take a political position.
Who Is Beni Rae Harmony?
She is an American reporter and former local television host. Since September 2025, she has been the White House correspondent for Real America’s Voice, a conservative cable network, according to TheWrap.
Background and Education
Her hometown, birth date and education have not been verified in the sources I reviewed. Some biography websites have posted “education” sections for her, but I could not find a primary source for them, so none is stated here.
Career Path
Early Political Work
The Daily Beast, citing her LinkedIn profile, reports that she worked for Turning Point USA from 2020 to 2021 under Charlie Kirk, and that she interned for Arizona Representative Paul Gosar and former Florida Representative Matt Gaetz. Her LinkedIn also lists her as director of public affairs for a “U.S. Political Campaign” around 2022, which the Daily Beast connects to the congressional run of Virginia Republican Jarome Bell, although her page does not name him.
WICS-ABC20 in Springfield, Illinois
Harmony worked as a TV host at WICS/NewsChannel 20 in Springfield, Illinois. She says she was suspended for giving an unplanned on-air tribute to Charlie Kirk after he was killed in September 2025. She called the tribute “non-partisan” and said Kirk had been her mentor, according to the Daily Beast. I did not find the station’s own explanation, so the reason for the suspension rests on her account.
Real America’s Voice
She joined Real America’s Voice in September 2025 and became its White House correspondent. TheWrap reports she traveled with the press pool during President Trump’s Ireland trip and, the week before the announcement, took a seat on Air Force One for a flight to Tennessee for a college football game, a spot the Daily Beast says CNN usually holds.
Assistant Press Secretary
She announced her new role on October 2, 2026. The Business Standard, citing TMZ, reports that Trump was seen on September 13 carrying papers that appeared to show her name in bold at the top. This is a report of what a photo appeared to show, and the White House has not described it.
Beni Rae Harmony Age
She is 24 years old, according to TheWrap, the Daily Beast and TMZ’s October 2, 2026 report. Her exact birth date has not been verified, so the year of birth cannot be calculated precisely.
Family, Husband or Partner, and Children
I found no verified information about her parents, a spouse or partner, or children. Some websites have posted claims about a boyfriend or husband, and none cites a reliable source, so they are not repeated here.
Religion, Height and Net Worth
None of these has been publicly verified in the sources I reviewed. Her salary in the White House role has not been disclosed, and I found no reliable net-worth figure.
